Chau & Dave had a beautiful wedding last Saturday. It was an amazing blend of cultures and religion. Casey and I decided to suprise Chau & Dave with a Same Day Edit that we would play after their Engagement video was played. It was a great experience seeing Chau & Dave’s reaction to the video and hearing the cheers from the crowd. It was definitely a hit.
Special thanks to Kirstie Warren of Simply Wed who did a fabulous job coordinating the entire event. Also it was a pleasure working with Laura & Dave of Totten Photography They did a wonderful job of capturing the events from the day as well as some really great intimate shots as well.

A few weekends ago we shot Joanna & Teddy’s engagement video down at Alki beach. It was the first day that we had sunny weather in Seattle! It was almost 80 degrees. There were so many people at the beach and I was a bit worried that we wouldn’t be able to find a spot without any other people in the background. Once I saw those boats and the pier I new that we had to get them down on the beach! Of course it was really hard to get to (that is why no one else was there!). But, Joanna and Teddy were absolutely awesome and willing to go along with our crazy requests. Im sure it was pretty funny watching casey and I climb down the slippery rocks with the steadicam and bags of equipment! Thanks Joanna & Teddy! We had a great time with you and we can’t wait to shoot your wedding in August!

After we were done at the first location we headed over to another part of the beach which was very cool as well. I love the reflections!
And after eating dinner we headed back towards part of the beach where we could see the sun setting! yay!

Chau & Dave are so full of energy and love for each other. They were so laid back and made our job so easy! We also filmed their engagement video so stay tuned for their video! Hope you like them guys!

We headed to Greenlake first to take pictures with their puppy Taylor.

Then we headed to UW and dodged the rain to take advantage of the beautiful blossoms!
After the rain the light was amazing!
