We love Stacy & Andre. They are so much fun to hang out with and we were so excited to get to do some more photos of them at their day after/post wedding shoot. After their photo viewing of their wedding photos, we headed over to the Ballard locks and the cool walls around Ballard for some photos. We lucked out that even though it was a bit cold, it didn’t rain. We did get stopped by a bunch of people at the locks, with everything from words of congratulations to an old man talking about stuffing his bride in the back of a car…im not sure what that was about! We also ordered a sample album of this shoot, so we will have that soon!

Nikole and James wedding was unlike any other wedding Casey and I have shot. We had 1 hour before the wedding and 1 hour after the wedding with just them! We were able to be creative and go to several different locations to get photos of them together. Nikole & James have been dating since highschool so they are so comfortable around each other, that they make our job a breeze. In addition, their family was so much fun to be around and there were tears of joy flowing throughout the day. N & J- Have a blast in Cancun, we can’t wait to see all those pictures when you get back ![]()

Awesome! Jeff and Julie’s wedding is being featured by Southern Weddings Magazine, check it out Jeff and Julie were an incredible couple to work with. The love they share is truly unique. They do everything together and are true soul mates. When your with them, its hard not to become enamored with their kindness, hospitality, and friendship.

The reception at the Hycroft Manor in Vancouver, BC was beautiful. The dinner, first dance, toasts, cake cutting and bouquet toss all took place outside. This made for some unique photos and lots of delicious light!
Amina-thanks for the posing idea on this one!
Cheryl & Andrew did their first dance as their first event before dinner was even served. This was awesome for us because the lighting was excellent and it was so beautiful to have the dance outside!

Casey and I have been focused on editing photos and all the behind the scenes stuff the past couple of weeks so our blog has been neglected. The good news is that we have some posts lined up for the next couple of weeks!
And now…back to the post…Here is the first part of Cheryl and Andrew’s wedding for all of those who have been waiting! Casey and I had not met Cheryl or Andrew until the day before their wedding! Our busy schedules never seemed to align and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Cheryl & Andrew are so easy going, relaxed, stylish and very smart (they are both pharmacists). They ooze love for each other and Cheryl’s attention to detail and really came through in the final event. They held their wedding in Vancouver BC at the Hycroft Manor which is absolutely gorgeous. Every room has a different look and feel and it was a photographers’ dream. We were joined by the fabulous cinematographers StillMotion and it was absolutely a blast working with them!

Cheryl also kept a blog of all her diy projects and wedding planning and if you are a bride out there that needs some inspiration go visit it! She blogs everything from choosing the venue, photographer to shoes and the dress.

J&J’s wedding was absolutely amazing. It is easy to see the connection between J&J just by looking at how they interact with each other but you can also see how close they are to their family and friends. One of my favorite shots is the photo of J&J hugging Jeff’s brother. It was after the applause had died down and J&J ran over for a hug. It was a moment shared by three people in the room but that now everyone can enjoy.
Reception Location: Woodmark Hotel
Wedding Coordinator: Katy of Vows
A ring shot of their 4 rings. All tying into their theme.

J&J’s reactions to the heartfelt toasts.

A hug and a kiss for Jeff’s brother after his speech.

Some of the fabulous details including the “infinitini”

The large cake with photos surrounding it and the mini cakes for each individual guest!
The sendoff: Love the left over orange light from the sunset.
