Heather & Chris: Engagement

We had such a great time shooting Heather & Chris’s engagement session. They were the first people to book us for this year so it has been a long time since we saw Heather and it was our first time meeting Chris. We met Heather and her parents at Amy & Tim’s wedding last year. We drove to Yakima for the shoot and at about 12:00pm Casey and I got a little worried about the weather, it went from being really warm to having dark clouds and rain. My original intention was to shoot at the golf course but when I called up to see what the weather was like, it was snowing. The weather was crazy. We had about 15 minutes before it started snowing. We drove around to different spots trying to find a good spot, that wasn’t too wet. Heather and Chris were awesome, they were willing to lay on the wet ground with snow coming down on them! They are so cute together, I love it! Well then we left the beautiful field to find a restroom. And as we were waiting, we saw the sun come out! It was amazing! Sun, rain, snow and sun again all in a matter of hours! Crazy. I love the variety we were able to get. Heather and Chris we are so excited to shoot your wedding in August, it is going to be so much fun! We can’t wait to see you again.
